Presently 2 Hostels for boys and 2 for girls are available for both UG, PG and also for B.P.Ed students. The admission procedure for each of the hostels is based on distance as well as merit.

Boys' Hostels:

A. Number of hostels-Two

i. Brown Hostel : Number of inmates- 122 (New Block: 61,Old Block : 61)

ii. Mitchell Hostel : Number of inmates- 90

Girls' Hostels:

A. Number of hostels-Two

i. Mother Teresa Hostel : Number of inmates : 81 (only UG students)

ii. Sister Nibedita Hostel : Number of inmates : 66 (PG & B.P.Ed)

Facilities available in the Hostels:

All rooms are airy and spacious. In Brown Hostel single accommodation facility is provided. All the hostels have huge toilet complexes, renovated recently. Infrastructure in the dining room and kitchen have been improved. All the hostels have common rooms with indoor game facilities. There are security staff for each hostel. In addition to Hostel Warden there is hostel superintendent for each hostel.
