Introduction

Following the guidelines of the UGC, IQAC is continuously working for the enhancement of academic and administrative performance of the college. The IQAC monitors teaching-learning as well as research activities, submit AQAR regularly and report to the Governing Body, or the Teachers’ Council for discussion regarding improvement of academic and extra academic matters of the institution. The IQAC addresses the grievances of the students, if any. The IQAC attempts to ensure participation of the students and the teachers in community services through extension activities. The IQAC takes feedback from the students as well as parents and analyses them and places the reports in different meetings with the departments and then suggests remedial measures.

Encouraging teachers to go abroad to attend seminars in connection with their researches.

Initiatives for the introduction of new courses.
Organizing Soft-skill Development programmes.

Renovation/Up-gradation of the existing infrastructure.
Proper maintenance of the laboratories, equipments and instruments.
Technology upgradation of different laboratories.
Encouraging extension activities through NCC, NSS, Eco Friend Club and ASHSWAS.
Proper use and upgradation of the library.
Introduction of modern amenities in the Library.
Generation of funds though consultancy services.
Promotion of teachers through CAS.
Maintaining a healthy liaison with Alumni Association, Parent-teacher Association, etc.
Extending to the general students the facilities available like.

Reading room facility in the library, text books and reference books and journals available in the Central Library as well as Book Bank.

Motivating students to take part in different community services and also to make best use of available support services.
